The new Ferrari-based Lancia Stratos is now more than just a rumour, so what are my thoughts on?
First thoughts are it's good, it's pretty good and it's definately a Stratos.
It's based on a F430 chassis, so it should shift a bit, but if it's like most supercars these days it may as well be based on a Skoda 110.
Someone dressed as the Stig will thrash it round a disused airfield, Jeremy Clarkson will go all silly, and if you're lucky you'll see one in a car park in Chelsea. But will you ever see one driven in anger?

Now the real Stratos was a rally car.
For most Brits their first sight of it was in a dark and wet November forest, a sexy Italian dame desperately chasing a pack of incredibly butch Escort RSes.
Will we see that again? Well there is the incresingly popular Group N GT class, which produced a terrific dice at the Chatsworth rally Show this year and last.
I'd love to see a Stratos dicing with the Porsche 911GTs and Aston Martins.
